
GOVBALL MUSIC FESTIVAL
This project's purpose is to create a rebrand of the brand’s identity for an established festival for the coming year of 2025 and to also improve the experience for the people that will attend the festival. This will be used to generate more ticket sales as this is part of a promotional campaign to generate revenue for the festival. Governors Ball was the festival of my choosing which takes place in Flushing Medows, Queens, New York. For this project, we were to deliver several pieces that included a design system for purposes of the touchpoint journey for the attendees. The touchpoint journey is essentially a pathway where the attendee will naturally go through, and a touchpoint is every time an attendee encounters or is exposed to the festival. The specific touchpoints in the journey are awareness, planning, waiting, experience, and follow up. The touchpoint journey goes as such: It is when the attendee is aware the festival exists, when they decide to purchase a ticket to attend, them waiting for the day of the festival, the experience of the festival, and the experience after the festival. The mission of the festival is to show the targeted audiences that this festival is bustling, vibrant, and urban all why instilling a sense of trust through a visual branding system.
